Affirming, Healing, Empowering
Welcome,
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with a focus on trauma and supporting trans and queer clients.
If you're reading this, you might be dealing with trauma or navigating some difficult experiences or emotions. Seeking therapy is a meaningful step, and I want to ensure you have the support you need. My practice is focused on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore and address challenges in ways that work for you.
As a trans and queer person, I understand the unique mental health struggles and complexities that come with those identities. Therapy can be a place where we are at our most vulnerable and every queer and trans person deserves support through that vulnerability from within their community.
Whether you are seeking to address past trauma, improve your mental health, or navigate your gender identity and transition-related challenges, you can find help and support in my practice.
How I Work
I'm trained in IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy), sometimes called Parts Work, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I also use an integrative approach that adapts to each client's needs which incorporates parts of CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Person-Centered/Humanistic therapy, and Feminist Therapy.
You Deserve Support That Understands You
In my practice, your identity is affirmed and celebrated. Together, we will explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you. I am committed to providing a space where you can feel validated, empowered, and truly seen. I believe to heal we need to feel safe, and to feel safe we need to feel understood and accepted.
