Welcome, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with a focus on trauma and supporting queer and trans clients. My practice is focused on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space to find relief from distress and to challenge yourself to change. My work has been focused on treating PTSD , developmental trauma, and religious trauma, particularly within the LGBT+ community. I understand the unique mental health struggles that can come with being queer and/or trans as well as the complexities that come with those identities. Therapy can be a place where we are at our most vulnerable and I believe that every queer and trans person deserves support through that vulnerability from within our community. How I Work I'm trained in IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy), sometimes called Parts Work, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I also use an integrative approach that adapts to each client's needs which incorporates ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Person-Centered/Humanistic therapy, and Feminist Therapy.
